Abstract

In this study the time variation of energy and particles densities in burning plasma for DT fuel in ITER tokamak in the presence of thermal noise are investigated. In order to attain an appropriate set of particle and energy balance equations, a suitable thermal noise term is considered in this set of four coupled differential equations. These equations are solved simultaneously by numerical methods. The results of the calculations for fusion power, particles densities, fusion energy density and quality factor in two states without noise and with noise show that in the conditions where the thermal noise is involved, the above parameters and the quality factor are increased and actually system performance is improved.
