The Journal of Geoconservation Research is an Open Access journal. All articles published in the journal are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This license permits unrestricted use, distribution, adaptation, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

Copyright Ownership and Rights

As a condition of publication in the Journal of Geoconservation Research, authors retain copyright of their work while granting the journal publishing rights as detailed in the Copyright Agreement.

By submitting their manuscript, authors agree to the following terms:

  1. Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 License (CC BY 4.0): All published content will be freely available under the CC BY 4.0 license, enabling unrestricted use and sharing while requiring appropriate citation of the original work.
  2. Online Posting: Authors may post pre-print (which may be shared on institutional or disciplinary repositories, or personal websites, but must include a citation and link to the final published version in the Journal of Geoconservation Research once it is available) or post-print versions (Final Publisher's PDF may also be shared online, provided they include a citation and link to the journal’s website) of their manuscript online.
  3. Additional Distribution Agreements: Authors may enter into additional non-exclusive agreements for the distribution of the journal-published version of their work (e.g., posting it to an institutional repository or including it in a book), provided there is proper acknowledgment of its initial publication in the Journal of Geoconservation Research.

Third-Party Materials

Authors are responsible for securing all necessary copyright permissions for any third-party materials included in their manuscripts. Written evidence of these permissions must be provided upon acceptance of the manuscript.
