Mesoporous photocatalysts of CeO2/SBA-15 are prepared by two methods of direct synthesis as solvent-usage and solvent-free methods. In solvent-usage method, CeO2/SBA-15 is synthesized in acidic media. While, in solvent-free method, CeO2/SBA-15, has been prepared through the novel path of directly grind cerium salt into the as-prepared samples of SBA-15 occluded with template. This method enables […]
Silica supported phosphorus pentoxide (P2O5·SiO2) is an efficient catalyst for synthesis of 1,3,5-substituted pyrazoles via the condensation of 1,3-diketones and hydrazines. Simplicity of procedure, mild condition, being solvent-free, high yields, and easy workup are some advantages of this protocol.
This paper describes the applicability of 1,3-dichloro-5,5-dimethylhydantoin, as a cheap, stable and commercially available catalyst, in the promotion of the synthesis of 1,8-dioxo-octahydro-xanthenes (DOXOs) via the one-pot condensation of aldehydes and cyclic 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds. This novel synthetic method has the advantages of high yields, short reaction times, low cost and availability of the catalyst, solvent-free […]
An efficient, mild and environmentally friendly method was developed for the Strecker reaction to synthesize α-aminonitriles in the presence of methyl imidazolium hydrogen sulfate ([Hmim][HSO4]) as an efficient catalyst. These syntheses were performed via a one-pot three-component condensation of aldehydes (or ketones), amines, and trimethylsilyl cyanide under mild and solvent free conditions.
The one-pot, multi-component synthesis of 4,4′-(arylmethylene)bis(1H-pyrazol-5-ols) by tandem Knoevenagel-Michael reaction of phenylhydrazine, ethyl acetoacetate and aldehydes in the presence of silica-bonded N-propylpiperazine sulfamic acid (SBPPSA) as a recyclable solid acid catalyst was reported. SBPPSA showed much the same efficiency when used in consecutive reaction runs.
In this research, zeolite A was synthesized from waste porcelain and CdS nano-particles were doped in zeolite framework by a precipitation after an ion exchanging process. All raw and modified samples were characterized by FT-IR, XRD and SEM methods. Primary experiments showed that the good efficiency of loaded nano CdS onto the zeolite A for […]
Poly(4-vinylpyridine)-supported copper iodide nanoparticles is reported as a new, green and recyclable catalyst for the synthesis of aryl-14H-dibenzo [a-o] xanthenes under solvent-free conditions. This catalyst can be recovered by simple filtration and recycled up to 8 consecutive runs without any loss of their efficiency.
A simple and efficient procedure has been developed for the synthesis of 2,3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-ones derivatives under solvent-free conditions. This method uses the condensation of isatoic anhydride, aldehydes, and amines in the presence of a catalytic amount Sulfonated Porous Carbon (SPC). One of the important advantages of the new method is that the SPC could be recycled […]
