Herein we explore facile synthesis of 4-(3H)-Qunazolinone derivatives, achieved by the cyclocondensation of anthranilic acid, aromatic amines and triethyl orthoformate in presence of thiamine hydrochloride (Vitamin B1) as a catalyst, using grinding method.
