Reza Fadayevatan (Chair of the Board)

Dr Reza Fadayevatan is a distinguished gerontologist and academic with a PhD from the University of Sheffield and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. He has an impressive career in the field of aging and geriatrics, with a strong focus on frailty and comprehensive geriatric assessment. In addition to his academic work, Dr. Fadayevatan is currently holds a leadership role as the Head of Institution at Azad University (IR) in Oxford, where he leverages his vast experience in leadership and innovation to shape the institution's academic direction.

Mohsen Aarabi (Executive Director)

Dr Mohsen Aarabi is an experienced epidemiologist with a medical background. He earned his PhD from the University of Sheffield, and his MPH in Tehran University of Medical Sciences, gaining extensive expertise in public health, disease prevention, and epidemiological research. Over the course of his career, he has made significant contributions to scientific literature as an author, reviewer, and editorial board member for various renowned journals. In addition to his academic work, Dr. Aarabi has shown leadership in the scientific publishing sector, managing and supporting journals to promote high-quality research. A passionate advocate for open access publishing, he believes in the importance of making scientific research freely available to encourage collaboration and innovation. Since co-founding OICC Press in mid-2022, he has been committed to advancing open access to scientific knowledge.

Dan Gee (Sales and Marketing Director)

Dan Gee is an experienced educator, and policy expert.  Dan holds an MBA from Durham Business School and works as a tutor and tuition consultant in Oxford.  He brings a wide experience of working in education - creating and evaluating policy for the UK government over 12 years, managing an editing and proofreading business in Oxford, and currently tutoring a number of students with special needs in Oxford.  Dan's expertise in communications and education is immensely valuable to OICC.  Feel free to contact him with any questions you have on sales and marketing. 

Davoud Dorranian (Chief Production Officer)

Professor Davoud Dorranian is a distinguished researcher and professor of Physics who graduated with a Ph.D. Physics from Utsunomiya University in Utsunomiya, Japan, in 2003.

Davoud Dorranian has been serving as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Theoretical and Applied Physics since 2013. In this role, he has demonstrated significant leadership, contributing to the development and growth of the journal.

Professor Hafiz Khan (Non-Executive Director)

Professor Hafiz T.A. Khan is a renowned expert in Public Health and Statistics, currently serving as a Professor at the University of West London and a Professorial Fellow at the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing. He holds a PhD in Applied Statistics from Edinburgh Napier University and boasts over 30 years of teaching experience at prestigious institutions such as the University of Oxford and the National University of Singapore. Professor Khan is a Chartered Statistician and Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health. He has authored numerous scientific publications, serves as an editor for several academic journals, and acts as an adviser on international health projects.
