Aims and Scope

The Journal of Language and Translation (JLT) publishes research papers on English language studies including the following areas:

• Second language learning/teaching
• English teacher education
• Language assessment
• Translation studies
• English literature
• General linguistics

JLT invites researchers to submit previously unpublished papers within any one of the aforementioned realms of study. Papers should be reports of genuine research studies with all necessary details of the procedure and data analyses. Such drafts, which need to be submitted only via the online submission link, should be between 5000 to 8000 words (excluding special cases under the discretion of the Editorial Board) including tables, figures, references, and appendixes.
