The Journal of Language and Translation (JLT) was established in 2008 and is a double-blind peer-reviewed, an open-access quarterly publication by the Faculty of Persian Literature and Foreign Languages of Islamic Azad University, South Tehran Branch. JLT has been accredited the Academic/Research ranking in Letter No. 3/18/308618 dated March 17, 2018, issued by the Director-General of Iran’s Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology Bureau of Policy and Planning. JLT provides a forum for professionals in translation and EFL/ESL studies to share their research findings and explore ideas and relationships in the field. The scope of the Journal includes papers in a broad theoretical and methodological context that stress, inter alia, the following subjects: Second language teaching/learning, translation studies, linguistics, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, and language performance assessment.
