Announcement: Journal Transition to a New Publisher

We are pleased to announce that, beginning with Issue 1 (2025), the Progress in Biomaterials will be published by OICC Press, a UK-based academic publisher. This transition marks an exciting new chapter for the journal while maintaining its commitment to excellence in research publication.

Progress in Biomaterials will continue to be led by our esteemed Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Hamid Mirzadeh, along with the existing editorial team. We remain dedicated to upholding the highest standards of peer review, ethical publishing practices, and rigorous editorial policies.

Authors and reviewers will now engage with our submission and review process through ScholarOne, a trusted and efficient manuscript management system. This change ensures a seamless and user-friendly experience for all contributors.

We appreciate the support of our readers, authors, and reviewers during this transition and look forward to continuing to provide a premier platform for high-quality research in all aspects of studies of the preparation, performance and evaluation of biomaterials; the chemical, physical, biological and mechanical behavior of materials both in vitro and in vivo in areas such as tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, drug delivery and implants where biomaterials play a significant role.
