Investigation of dopant centres dominating the conduction process in the bulk of un-doped GaSb

AbstractIn this paper, first, the theoretical description of the effects of the dopant densities and the activation energies on the ionization densities, the chemical potentials corresponding to each dopant levels, the majority carrier densities and the Fermi-energy levels in one-acceptor-level system, highly compensated system and two-acceptor-level system are described in detail. Upon fitting the theoretical […]

Effect of substrate temperature on ZnS films prepared by thermal evaporation technique

AbstractThe nanocrystalline ZnS semiconducting thin films of 500 nm thickness have been deposited on glass substrate at different substrate temperatures (Ts) by thermal evaporation technique. The structural property of deposited thin films has been measured by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and Energy dispersive analysis of X-ray. The electrical and optical properties of thin films have […]

Electrical conduction in nanoceramic PGT synthesised by high energy ball milling

AbstractNanocrystalline Pb1–3x/2GdxTiO3 (where x = 0.01) abbreviated as PGT has been synthesised by high energy ball milling at room temperature. X-ray analysis shows that single-phase tetragonal structure of nanocrystalline PGT was formed after 15-h milling. The average crystallite size was found to be 17 nm. The frequency-dependent AC conductivity of the PGT ceramic was studied in the range […]
