Exactly solvable reaction diffusion models on a Bethe Lattice through the empty-interval method

AbstractThe most general reaction–diffusion model on a Bethe Lattice with nearest-neighbor interactions is introduced, which can be solved exactly through the empty-interval method. The stationary solutions of such models are discussed. For some special choice of reaction rates the dynamics of the system is also studied.

Design and construction of a tunable pulsed Ti:sapphire laser

AbstractIn this paper, design and constr uction of a tunable pulsed Ti:sapphire laser and numerical solution of the corresponding rate equations are reported. Rate equations for a four-level system are written and their numerical solution is examined. Furthermore, an optical setup is introduced. In this setup, a Ti:sapphire crystal is longitudinally pumped by the second […]

High-frequency instabilities in an explosion-generated relativistic plasma

AbstractA realistic problem of an explosion-generated relativistic plasma is talked about with respect to the instabilities developed in such systems. For this, the dispersion equation is derived analytically and solved numerically for typical values of physical quantities. Our calculations reveal that two types of instabilities occur in the said plasma if the dust particles and […]

Dispersion relation and growth rate in thermal plasma-loaded traveling wave tube with corrugated waveguide hollow electron beam

Abstract A theory of relativistic traveling wave tube with magnetized thermal plasma-filled corrugated waveguide with annular electron beam is given. The dispersion relation is obtained by linear fluid theory. The characteristic of the dispersion relation is obtained by numerical solutions. The effect of plasma density, corrugated period, waveguide radius and plasma thermal effect on the […]

Influence of Nd3+ ions on TL characteristics of Li2O-MO-B2O3 (MO = ZnO, CaO, CdO) glass system

AbstractThermoluminescence (TL) characteristics of X-ray irradiated pure and doped with Nd3+ ions glasses have been studied in the temperature range 303–573 K; all the pure glasses have exhibited single TL peak at 382, 424 and 466 K, respectively. When these glasses are doped with Nd3+ ions no additional peaks are observed but the glow peak temperature of […]

Evolution of shapes in even–even nuclei using the standard interacting boson model

AbstractThe sd-version of the interacting boson model (IBM) is used to establish the shape phase transitional structure. A simplified Hamiltonian is used which is intermediate between the three dynamical symmetries of U(6), namely the spherical U(5), the prolate and oblate deformed SU(3) and the γdocumentclass[12pt]{minimal} usepackage{amsmath} usepackage{wasysym} usepackage{amsfonts} usepackage{amssymb} usepackage{amsbsy} usepackage{mathrsfs} usepackage{upgreek} setlength{oddsidemargin}{-69pt} egin{document}$$gamma $$end{document}-unstable […]

Glass surface modification using Nd:YAG laser in SF6 atmospheres

AbstractGlass surface modification is one of the processes which changes its physical properties. Changing optical property is a significant effect of surface modification. Among the surface modification methods, laser surface modification is attractive for researchers. Here, SiO2 glass target was irradiated by Q-switched Nd:YAG laser (1064 nm) in SF6 atmospheres as well as vacuum. In this […]

Effect of obliqueness and external magnetic field on the characteristics of dust acoustic solitary waves in dusty plasma with two-temperature nonthermal ions

AbstractIn this paper, a theoretical investigation has been made of obliquely propagating dust acoustic solitary wave (DASW) structures in a cold magnetized dusty plasma consisting of a negatively charged dust fluid, electrons, and two different types of nonthermal ions. The Zakharov–Kuznetsov (ZK) and modified Zakharov–Kuznetsov (MZK) equations, describing the small but finite amplitude DASWs, are […]
