Here, the performance of various label-free electronic biosensors to detect bio-molecules is investigated by simulation technique. Silicon nanowire sensor, nanosphere sensor and double gate field effect transistor (DGFET) sensor with different device parameters are reported here and their performances are compared. For the three types of sensors, radius of the nanowire, radius of the nanosphere and the silicon body thickness for the DGFET are varied to compare their selectivity, sensitivity, settling time etc. The result of adjustment of the flow of the fluid is also investigated by simulation.
