Objective: To probe the clinical Effect of emergency-targeted nursing combined with drugs on renal colic. Methods: Eighty patients with renal colic caused by upper urinary tract stones were chosen and randomly separated into an observation group (O.G.) and a control group (C.G.), with 40 cases in each group. All patients received routine treatment such as fluid rehydration, anti-infection intramuscular injection of Dezocine and phloroglucinol. At the same time, patients in the C.G. accepted regular nursing, and patients in the O.G. were given targeted nursing. The pain scores compared (1) time of pain disappearance and dosage of analgesic drugs, (2) mental states, (3) quality of life, and (4) nursing satisfaction in both groups. Results: VAS, SAS, and SDS scores declined in 2 groups after nursing, lessening those in the O.G. relative to the C.G. (P<0.05). It elevated all dimensions of SF-36 scores in 2 groups after nursing, and those in the O.G. were better than the C.G. (P<0.05). It lessened the time of pain disappearance in O.G. relative to the C.G. (P<0.05). The amount of analgesic drugs in the O.G. was lower relative to the C.G. (P<0.05). It elevates the nursing satisfaction in the O.G. compared to the C.G. (χ2=5.17, P<0.05). Conclusion: Targeted nursing combined with analgesic drugs in treating patients with renal colic in an emergency has good clinical Effect, which can reduce the pain of patients with renal colic, alleviate patients’ negative emotions, promote quality of life, improve nursing satisfaction, and has clinical application value.
