Abstract
The vermiculite/aluminum oxide nanocomposite absorbent was investigated in this study using the gel decomposition method under the influence of ultrasound waves. It placed. It can absorb nitrate ions. Different analyses identified the adsorbents; the initial concentration, temperature, amount of adsorbent, contact time, and pH were evaluated in this case. Other isotherm models were used in the adsorption mechanism and control steps. The results show that Langmuir isotherm and second-order kinetics have the best match. Based on the results, it was revealed that the above adsorbent is suitable for aqueous solutions.
