<Abstract>This paper establishes a geometric interpretation of the methods obtained from a two-point Jarratt-Gander type class and then these are compared with other kinds of methods to polynomial with two different roots. Finally, several numerical examples to observe the performance of the classic and new members of the families mentioned are presented.</Abstract>
