Plagiarism Policy

Plagiarism, defined as the unauthorized use or close adaptation of another author’s work without proper attribution, is strictly prohibited. This includes copying expressions of ideas, structural similarities in the text, or presenting others’ ideas and results as original research. Our journal adheres to a stringent “Anti-Plagiarism” policy.

To enforce this policy, we utilize iThenticate for English articles to check for similarities.

Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism occurs when:

  1. Someone else’s work is presented as one’s own.
  2. Words or ideas from another source are used without giving proper credit.
  3. Incorrect information is provided about the source.
  4. Words are changed, but the sentence structure of a source is copied without giving credit.
  5. A significant portion of a work is copied from a source, with or without proper credit.
  6. Images, figures, or graphs are used without proper permission and citation.

Authors must obtain written permission from the original owner when necessary and provide appropriate citations for any images, figures, or graphs used in their work.

Similarity Check Procedures

  2. High Similarity:

If plagiarism is detected at any stage, appropriate actions will be taken in accordance with the COPE guidelines and flowcharts on Plagiarism in a submitted manuscript and Plagiarism in a published article.

Recommendations for Authors

  1. Always properly cite references and acknowledge ideas.
  2. Ensure all references contain full bibliographic information.
  3. Include all sources cited in the text in the bibliography, and vice versa.
  4. Use quotation marks for any text where more than six consecutive words are copied.
  5. Obtain permission from other authors or publishers to reuse any copyright-protected content.

By adhering to these guidelines, we maintain the integrity and originality of scholarly research published in our journal.
